ReunionPilot (“ReunionPilot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates ReunionPilot.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our coming-soon website and beta waitlist. The future ReunionPilot application may collect additional information; we will update this policy before inviting people to use features that require it.
Information we collect
When you join the beta waitlist, we collect your first name, email address, and approximate reunion or family size. You may also provide your next reunion date and describe your biggest reunion-planning challenge. Please do not include sensitive information about yourself or other family members in the challenge field.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider and WordPress may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser or device details, pages requested, and access times. WordPress and installed plugins may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions. If we add optional analytics, advertising, or other tracking tools, we will update this policy to describe them.
How we use information
We use waitlist information to record your interest, understand the needs of reunion organizers, respond to questions or requests, and contact you about ReunionPilot beta availability and related launch updates. We use technical information to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website. We do not use waitlist submissions to create a family account or process payments.
You can ask us to stop sending beta-related emails at any time by replying to an email or contacting support@reunionpilot.com.
Where information is stored and who can access it
Waitlist submissions are stored as private entries in the WordPress database for this website. Authorized site administrators can review them and export them as a CSV file. A notification containing your first name and email address may be sent to the site’s administrator email account when you sign up. We limit access to people who need it to manage the waitlist and website.
Companies that help us operate the website, hosting, email delivery, and related infrastructure may process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and the security of the service. We do not sell the information submitted through the beta waitlist.
How long we keep information
We keep waitlist information while we are preparing and operating the ReunionPilot beta and for a reasonable period afterward to manage related communications, unless you request deletion earlier or we need to keep information for a legitimate legal or operational reason. Routine website logs and backups may be retained for different periods by our service providers. You can request deletion by contacting support@reunionpilot.com.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, including restricting access to waitlist entries in WordPress. No website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. If you export waitlist data, store and share the CSV carefully.
Your choices and requests
You can contact support@reunionpilot.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you submitted, or to ask questions about how we use it. We may need to verify that the email address belongs to you before fulfilling a request. Some rights may depend on where you live.
Children
The beta waitlist is intended for reunion organizers, not children under 13. Please do not submit a child’s personal information through the waitlist. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website and product develop. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected waitlist information, we will take appropriate steps to notify affected people.
